Currently at school eating cookies and just thought I'd blog about it. I've been at this University about a month now and have hardly talked to a soul. I am taking an array of media classes one which involves writing stories and conducting interviews. I just conducted my first one...it wasn't that bad but as my next 4 are with instructors and the University Photographer I'm dreading it.

I have wanted to make some friends but at the same time don't wanna put in the effort of doing so, I just wanna come to class and go home. I am also taking a Public Speaking class and the thought of all the human interaction these classes require makes me so anxious before I've even spoken to anyone.

But I'm a communications major so that involves interaction. The classes I'm taking this semester are Intro to Media (a bunch of tests basically), Basic Writing for Media (a journalism class), Public Speaking (just scary as fuck), and a Media Literacy class which has frankly made me a little paranoid we talk about how ads and such are made for different groups, different social classes, etc. Also how your "personal" information is sold on the internet and every time you go to a website ten companies are watching what you're up to.

Ya see why I'm paranoid? But I'm actually enjoying that class the most. I'll update you guys through out the semester and how my first interviews/story goes.

XO,
