WHAT IT'S LIKE BEING SMALL AND SHORT

As with anything else it has it's pros and cons. I have one rule, DO NOT BY ANY MEANS PICK ME UP! Only for the reason that anyway someone does it, it hurts. Most people go for under the arms...that is the worst! It simply just hurts. Then theres the sides, you're basically squeezing my ribs at this point and now come to think of it why does anyone want to pick me up anyway? I am not a kid, I may look 16, 17 years old but I am really 22. Why do you want to pick up a 22 year old?

That is my only rule, but there are other things that I feel people should not ask me. The first thing they ask is how tall are you? That's fine, I get that. Seeing someone who 4'10" is probably not an every day occurance for most. The question I absolutely hate is when people ask me my weight. If I want to tell you, I will. I don't think people think about it since I am smaller than the average person but you do not go around just asking people how much they weigh so what makes it okay to ask me? I just find that to be so rude, but feel like I am obligated to answer. Once I do, people usually look at me like I'm nuts. Then try to give me tips on gaining weight as if I need to! I DO NOT need to gain weight, I cannot gain weight. I've tried everything I could possibly think of and eat almost constantly, it just does not work.

I've kind of realized that this has turned into a rant...so let's go into pros and cons! Cons first, because it's on my mind. Not being able to reach things is a big one! I remember when I was younger I'd climb on the counters to reach the things I couldn't. As I've gotten older that has gotten harder, as I am bigger and insanely terrified of heights! Now I "use" step stools to get to what I want. I'm usually too lazy to get it out, unfold it and such to use it so I just ask for help instead. Another con would be having to sit so close to the steering wheel in the car. I am afraid to get into an accident for that reason. Also driving other peoples cars/people driving mine is a hassel because I have to move the seat all the way up and all the way forward. Sometimes, I can't even drive a car because I cannot reach the pedals.

Pros would be most people automatically think you're cute because of your size! Haha! Another pro is cheaper clothes (sometimes, not so much anymore.) and cheaper shoes for sure! Things are almost never too small, but can be too big a lot which causes the same disappointment. Although most of this sounds bad and like a rant, I love my size and wouldn't have it any other way!
