MAKEUP FAVORITES: HIGHLIGHTERS

NYX: 1. Lavender Steel 2. Lavender Lust 3. Champagne Shimmer $6-8

Lots of lavender, is probably what you're thinking. Why do you need 2 purple highlighters? This exactly what I thought and didn't want to pick up the stick version because I thought it would be too much like the powder but they're two totally different things! The Lavender Steel is more of a pink, purple color, almost like the diamond powder and catches the light a lot more. While the Lavender Lust more of a quite literally, light lavender, white color. I wear this on days that I want purple but want it to be subtle or wear it along with the other but put it in the places I don't want to be so noticable. The Lavender Steel, I am not kidding is like BAM in the sun/bright lighting.

As for the Champange Shimmer this is really just a bronze color I use when I want a regular shine that isn't white or glittery. It's as simple as that I probably wear this one the most out of the three.

MAKEUP FOREVER: White Mauve 3 Diamond Powder #91014 $32

This is still one of my favorites, but at $32 dollars for such a tiny pot, I would say it's really not worth the money.(I am almost out but have had it for a yr only wearing on special occasions) After finding the Lavender Lust, I really have had no need for this highlighter as that gives the same effect but with a different consistancy since one is a powder and one is pretty much glitter. I actually like the consistancy of Lavender Lust much better because I really REALLY HATE glitter.

Chrissy has worn this highlighter quite a few times and has possibly switched to something else given the price of this. If you have the money to spend and don't might having glitter around for the rest of your life, this is really an amazing product.

This is diamond powder but the Lavender Lust literally does the same exact thing! The Champagne Shimmer pretty much looks like the picture below too!
